Privacy policy

Effective 2026-10-01

This policy explains how TorsionLogic handles information when you use our watch faces, visit torsionlogic.com, or contact us.

For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@torsionlogic.com.

Watch faces covered by this policy

  • Duet Dual Tourbillon — current preview package com.torsionlogic.duettourbillon.spike.
  • Flying Carousel — Android package com.torsionlogic.flyingcarousel.
  • Meridian Date — Android package com.torsionlogic.meridiandate.
  • Nocturne Calendar — Android package com.torsionlogic.nocturnecalendar.
  • Mechanical Skeleton — Android package com.torsionlogic.mechanicalface.

This policy covers these standalone watch faces. It does not describe a separate marketplace or companion application.

Information used on your watch

These faces use Wear OS Watch Face Format. Your watch’s operating system renders their artwork and animation definitions; the faces contain no executable application code, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK.

Duet Dual Tourbillon and Flying Carousel use the local time to display the time and animate their movements. Meridian Date uses the local time and calendar date to position its hands and show the day of the month. Nocturne Calendar also uses the moon-phase category supplied by Wear OS; its hemisphere view is a setting you choose yourself. Mechanical Skeleton uses the local time to animate its movement and your watch’s battery level to position its power-reserve hand. Your selected appearance settings and the watch’s active or always-on display mode determine how each face is displayed.

This processing takes place on your watch. The faces do not transmit this information to TorsionLogic or to our servers. They do not request access to your location, health or fitness information, contacts, microphone, camera, or files, and they do not contain third-party complication slots.

Collection and sharing by the watch faces

The watch faces covered by this policy do not collect or share personal data with TorsionLogic or third parties. They have no advertising, tracking identifiers, user accounts, or sign-in. You do not need to provide a name or email address to use these faces.

Google Play, Wear OS, and your device manufacturer operate their own services, including installation, payments, updates, and system diagnostics. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies. TorsionLogic does not receive your payment card details through the watch faces.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments or information you choose to include, such as your watch model or an order reference. We use this information to answer your question, troubleshoot an issue, or handle your privacy request. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, or unnecessary sensitive information.

The website

The website has no account registration, checkout, or contact form. Fonts and watch images are served with the site. Website request handling is separate from the watch faces.

Microsoft Azure hosts the website. Delivering a page involves processing request information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time. Hosting records may be used to operate the site, diagnose errors, and protect it from abuse. Microsoft Office 365 processes and stores messages you choose to send us.

Google Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website and improve its content. Google Analytics is used on the website only; it is not included in our watch faces.

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to measure page visits, interactions, browser and device information, and approximate location. This information is processed by Google to provide website usage reports. We load Google Analytics only after you choose Accept analytics. You can decline analytics and still use the website, or change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops Analytics and removes its first-party cookies from this site. We store your choice locally in your browser so we can remember it. You can also manage or block cookies through your browser settings.

Service providers and security

Information from website requests and correspondence may be processed by Microsoft, which provides Azure hosting and Office 365 email as needed to deliver those services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect our services and legal rights. We do not sell personal information or use correspondence for targeted advertising.

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. We limit access to correspondence to the purposes described in this policy and rely on the security protections of our hosting and email services. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Retention and deletion

The watch faces do not create a TorsionLogic user account or a server-side record of your watch activity. You can remove a face through your watch’s app settings. Appearance settings are managed locally by Wear OS.

We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle the inquiry and related follow-up, or to meet applicable legal obligations. Hosting records are retained for operational and security purposes. We have not configured a single fixed retention period for email or hosting records; the relevant service settings and defaults apply. Google Analytics data is subject to the retention settings in that service. Retention depends on the purpose of the record, ongoing inquiries, security needs, and legal requirements. You can request deletion of correspondence by emailing privacy@torsionlogic.com; some information may need to be retained where the law requires it.

Your privacy choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of personal information, request a copy, or complain to a privacy authority. Contact our privacy address to make a request. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify that the request concerns your information.

Children’s privacy

The watch faces do not collect personal information from users, including children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us by email, contact our privacy address so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our data practices change and show the effective date of the updated policy. Changes affecting the watch faces will also be reflected in their Google Play disclosures.
